We bought 5 amberlink pullets from Tractor Supply this spring and ended up with 1 rooster. We had to give him to a family friend when he started crowing. Unfortunately, he was the kids' favorite.I’m so sad!At what point do I need to remove them? So I’m assuming pullets combs turn red much later?
The one in the back of the second photo is a cuckoo maran. I’m talking about the one in the front…but guess you’re saying it’s not femaleAlso your barred female isn't a barred rock. A cuckoo marans maybe?
But what about barred rock? No, the CM is definitely a pullet!
I said what he was here:But what about barred rock?
These two are cockerels.
Okay, sorry I guess I thought Sorta was gonna weigh in too. Thanks!I said what he was here:
That wyandotte isnt a rooster??? I feel like there are saddle feathers and the tail is shimmering blue.View attachment 2755544
This is the Wyandotte thought maybe to be rooster…17 weeks now, no crowing, no Spurs, but will “bow up” at barred rock who I’m not sure if pullet either…thoughts?!?View attachment 2755552
The Wyandotte is a cockerel. Though shimmering anything has nothing to do with that. That wyandotte isnt a rooster??? I feel like there are saddle feathers and the tail is shimmering blue.
Oh ok. I thought she was saying it was a pullet. Thanks for the confirmation! Was also thinking my females didnt have tail colors, then remembered they ended up being delawares and not columbian Wyandottes like TSC had claimed. LolThe Wyandotte is a cockerel. Though shimmering anything has nothing to do with that.
