I have four 7 week old mixed breed chicks, three of whom seem to have cuts or lumps on their peaks that are bleeding. One chicks is larger then the others. They have just started to spend an hour or two a day outside in a chicken coop with fox proof wire and the rest of the day they have been inside in the same cage we have raised many chickens in with no problem. Their behaviour is normal and they are eating and drinking fine. I have attached some pictures of the one whose beak is the worst and one of the cage. Are they getting injured or is it something else causing the bleeding?

The hardware cloth on the small coop is the cause when they rub against it. Seen this with my chicks, it's non concerning.
