7-week old EE, Please tell me it's not a rooster!

So far they are both pretty sweet-natured...the other suspicious chick is the runt and has been sick. So I guess I can safely assume that that one will not be dominant. I've given them all a lot of TLC, but I had never intended to have any roosters.

How does one go about re-homing a rooster?

I put an ad on Freecycle and had a home for my roo in a couple hours. Craigslist would work, too.

I have rehomed roosters by

1. Giving them to my feed store. They put him in a cage outside with a sign for $5-10 on it and sell him (they get the money).
2. Selling chickens at auction.


You can also use Craigslist although I always feel wrong telling anyone to use it because it can be dangerous.

Another option is to put up an auction on BYC to give away or sell the roo.

Some people eat their roos- I don't eat my own chickens.
