Hi! My chicks are now officially 7 weeks old today. I heard one of them start to try to crow this morning. It started out well and then kinda choked at the end. "cocka -doodle -urk!" Happened three times in a row and left myself and my daughter just about hysterical! Hoping for gender opinions that might be accurate (?! ha!) now that they are older and more feathered. Thanks so much! In order, they are Enoch (who we thought was a boy, then thought was a girl, now we just don't know) then Buttercup (who I'm just about positive is a roo) and the Bo Peep (who perplexes everyone including his/her self). If the one of Enoch isn't clear enough, I can send another!

The white one, though that doesn't mean he's your only roo.

the white one looks rooish to me too, at 7 weeks, that sure is a red comb...sorry.

The white one is your little manly man.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one who laughed at their poor rooster when the first crows came. The first time my little Cochin rooster crowed I was in another room. It was so horrible that I had to check on him and ask "Did someone step on you?"

He looked pretty proud of himself either way

No, doesn't look as roo-ish in that second set of pics.
