7 week old polish with wattles

[Western North Carolina]

Out of all my wcb polish, only 2 have large wattles, and 1 has smaller wattles. The other 7 have zero wattles. Do they develop at different ages, or can I assume the ones with the large wattles are males. At 7 weeks old I assume they don't have saddle feathers yet. Though the ones with wattles do have larger, thicker legs. (pics are of 3 different ones).

Yes, I think the two with large wattles are cockerels, and the one with smaller ones may well be, too. Comparison makes sexing a lot easier early in the game. But keep an open mind-- late developing cockerels are still possible.

#1 and #2 appear as cockerels.
