Hello there! I have no clue if I have 1-2 females or if they are all females. I read somewhere that the males should have the curling tail feather by now? Which none of them have. At one point I thought they might all be males but one. Please let me know your thoughts. These were bought from cackle hatchery.

I think you have a mix. Drake feathers might not show at this age. Voice should be developing. Girls are more quacky boys are more raspy. Anyone still peeping is likely male. In true WH At this age hens bills will be darker than males. Males will also be getting more distinct coloring with darker heads and bodies.

Drake curls and green heads come around 12 weeks. You have to voice sex at this age, hens will be super loud. It does look like 4 may be changing head color. I may be wrong about when those feathers turn green… my breeds don’t get that (Ancona and blue Swedish).

None of them have anything but a light whispery quack right now. At first when they were a few days old I thought I had one female and 5 males. Then I thought I had 3 male 3 female. Now I have no clue.

I’m not very experienced with the voices yet. Right now they’re all making the same light peeping whispering type noise.

You should have at least some quacking by now. Have you caught them individually? Sometimes they have to be uncomfortable/alone in order to actually quack. Otherwise unfortunately they are probably all drakes.
