I have 3 Khaki Campbells that are 7 weeks old. I'm getting one welsh harlequin next week who will be a few days old.

Actually, I'm getting 5 WH but I'm going to raise them in my garage together before my gf takes 4 of them.

Questions:
I put my ducks outside at 4 weeks old and they did fine. They probably could have gone sooner except for the cold. Can I expect the same for my new WH?

Do I need to be worried about my my fully grown KCs will treat the baby WH?

One of my KC is by far the alpha duck. She is bigger than the other two by quite a bit. She is more aggressive getting food and just is generally the leader. She leads, the other two blindly follow her everywhere. If she puts her head in the grass for something, a moment later, the other two will do the same.

My KCs are extremely nervous animals. They only come near me when I'm actually holding food in plain sight, in the morning. Will they ever be friendly to me and approach me?

I put a board to act as a ramp to their swimming pool. They never figured it out. They would circle the entire thing and walk around it, sometimes over it and then plop back down, never actually seeing the purpose. Now the ducks can easily hop in and out of the water. Was this foolish for me to think a duck could learn to walk up a ramp?

My ducks don't act like chickens very much. Haha. Chickens will eat anything. My ducks will eat spinach and lettuce and nothing else. I have cut up tomatoes, bananas, orange slices, nada. They aren't interested. I pitched the tomato slices into their pool and they disappeared eventually. Is this normal?

Feed. I'm still feeding my 3 ducks a full miracle whip container of feed in the morning which they inhale in about 10 minutes. In the afternoon, I give them another one. My yard is finally turning green. Should I expect to still give them this feed every morning or will they someday feed themselves. Btw, I'm not complaining. The feed bag costs $17 and lasts about a month.

Do ducks get overweight?

My duck coop has an automatic door on it that opens and closes on a schedule. The ducks are about .500 on whether they enter the house on time before the door shuts in the evening. Sometimes they are nestled amongst a bush instead. Sometimes they are standing at the door all night long waiting for it to open. Again, I overestimated their intelligence.

Can ducks see at night? I don't think they can. When I discovered them hiding amidst some bushes one night, they couldn't find their way back to the coop. One by one, they gave up and fell over, squawking loudly. I had to pick each up and carry them in.

I would not allow the KCs near the WH babies until they are of similar sizes. Ducks can be quite rough with each other at times.

That's a normal behavior for many ducks. My ducks won't come near me unless I bribe them with some peas.

I tried the ramp approach once but they never got the hang of it either. The geese eventually figured it out though.

That's also common. My ducks can be snobs when it comes to their treats.

Ducks can become overweight but with proper feed and exercise that most likely won't be an issue.

My ducks go back in their pen voluntarily every night sometimes without my telling them to. I sometimes have to tell them it is time to "duck in." I have 8 Khakis females and 5 Welshies 4 male and 1 female. They have a kiddie pool and do not need a ramp. They love tomatoes.

I had to usher my ducks on the ramp to the kiddy pool and again to get out only about 3or 4 times they have finally got it down I was actually surprised they got it so quickly bein a first time duck owner I wasn't sure how smart they were or how fast they learn
