Oh good. She got her comb early at around 4.5-5weeks but then it stopped growing. Fingers crossed.probably pullet. There's no redness, and that usually starts between 6-8 weeks. Check in again around 12 weeks.
ohh spill the teaWell I'm relieved. I kind of burned the bridge with the seller so taking her back if she was a cockerel was no longer an option![]()
The chicks I bought from her are carriers for mycoplasma gallisepticum. She knew and didnt inform me so now my entire flock is infected. It's actually really sad. I'm in the process of treating them. My poor girls have eyes swollen shut, snot coming out of their eyes, nose, and mouth. Wheezing, diarrhea. I'm having to hand feed them and give them water through a syringe (along with antibiotics 3x a day for 10 hens). I'm pissed. went off on her and made a post about her everywhere shes selling chicks.ohh spill the tea![]()
