Hi, i'm new here, & in some DESPERATE NEED OF SOME HELP! I have a 7 week old baby. Rhode Island red, (my lil buddy out of 10), that I stupidity left alone on the couch for 5 minutes and umm, somehow she jumped into the ceiling fan, broke a blade off and ended up breaking her leg by her hip. The vet was not very helpful, unfortunately. So I was hoping some one on here can give me some advice on what type of natural pain reliever I could give her to help her out. She seems like she's in more pain now since we've been back from the vet ,then she was before I took her. The main thing i've read about is baby aspirin, but I don't know if she should get the full eighty one milligrams and i'm not sure how much water I need to make sure she gets along with it. Any help is greatly appreciated! TY.

Has the vet stabilized the break at all?

Unfortunately, a moving fan blade is unlikely to only cause a broken hip, there's likely a few more injuries involved here.
It's best to consider putting her down, is the vet willing to do that?

Yeah, and that's the last option I want to take, she's just a baby still eating and drinking. I don't want to give up up on her! He was just as confused as I was to. How the hell her leg got trapped in the fan? I could see decapitation or her wing getting messed up, but i still can't comprehend how she messed up her leg & Her hip for that matter, which seems a be the most toughest for anybody to I have a resolution?

Also, the vet told me because of the location, it wasn't possible to stabilize that part of the leg. I'm hoping somebody out there on the holistic side of medicine can give me some direction to Help her. She's a special little girl. Only had her seven weeks, but she's feisty and special!
