Thanks Mahonri, he's a good boy. He didn't even seem to realize he was a roo until about 16 weeks & now he struts his stuff all over the yard. Still, he is the only chicken of the flock that lets me walk right up and pick them up. I'm looking forward to hatching out some of his offspring in the future. I do have 2 SLW hens, but also SS, BA, BR and Welsummer; so many of them will be mutts. I'll have to keep track of who lays what when I finally decide to do some hatching.
