7th Annual BYC New Year's Day 2016 Hatch-A-Long

I'm so sad. This guy has started crowing..waaay to much. I live in an Urban area. Trying to sell him, but am trying the collar this morning. Poor Bubba! Doesn't know what to think of it. I'm sure he won't be crowing, or mating for a while until he gets used to it. He is a heritage RIR..so beautiful and very good with the girls. I hope the collar works. I want to keep him so bad.

Check out that nice maroon sheen..not hatchery.

Also hatched out this little pullet with him..she also has a nice sheen. I have some of his eggs in the bator, but none of hers yet. Wish she would start laying, I see him breeding her, I would get some nice RIR's from them.

I can't find my egg shakers. Come to think of it, there should be other hen/rooster ones.
LOL...I saw many. I have the cutest pair..well, a couple. I have the ones that are kissing..has a magnet to hole them together at the beaks.

Was given to me by a friend. I also have some corn stalk ones, not chicken, but farm related. Pretty cute. And of course, I have the little jar ones. There aer some cute ones out there.
