8 Americana babies. 1 day old..

So excited i just picked up 8 Americauna chicks today.. Juat hatched this morning. They are the cutest.. Any ideas what colors they may be when they are older? Not surw of the colors of the hens and roo these came from except roo was all white with black and the hens were many colors. Eggs were pink, blue, and green..

they make beautiful birds with colorful eggs, that's why they are so popular, i'd venture to say the most popular/most sold chick the last few yrs.

I just love the beards.. My Penny is an EE/PBR mix and she is so cute. She lays military green/ dark olive eggs. Love that. Hubby is a retired Marine and he likes it too.

my Salmon Faverolle have much nicer beards then my Ameraucanas, Araucana or Easter Eggers, might be worth looking into if you're into the beards
