Hi there! I’m new to the chicken world but not the pet world. In February I bought 9 little chickies to add to my family of 2 dogs, 1 hamster, 1 parakeet and 4 snakes. I am loving my chickens and they all have names and distinct personalities....my favorite being my rooster James and my hen Delilah who wants to be a house and lap chicken....see pictures.....the second one is Delilah trying to get in the car with us.

Having had them for 5 months I realize that I love them and want to know more and be able to get even more.

I hoping to learn a lot on this forum and be able to be the best chicken mom I can be!

Yeah...she is a bit of a spoiled chicken. She’s allowed in the house, if we are sitting outside she will hop on our laps and yesterday she flew up onto my boyfriend’s shoulder.
