8 days old, Dominique hen from McMurray.

Was hanging fine until yesterday when she slowed down to finally just stay put. She is bright eyed, chirpy, but when I put food and QUIK CHICK under her nose, she was clearly thirsty and hungery form being unable to walk.

ITS LIKE SHE WAS STRUCK WITH POLIO OVERNIGHT. Her feet will bear weight , but only for about a three count, then the toes fold in and down she goes.

STOOLS ARE NORMAL.

Non-Medicated crumbles, as per McM specifications about Cocci immunization.

All of the other 33 chicks ---Delaware, EEs, and Austrolorps--- are thriving, but I have already lost TWO DOMS who had flux. THIS DOM does not appear "sick", just handicapped, and subsequently weak from not accessing the food. I made her a "single serving" brooder, and HAVE GIVEN HER ONE TINY DROP of Iron free Poly-Vi-Sol, per advice on this forum.

WHAT I CAN'T FIND IS:

WHAT ARE THE VITAMINS SUPPOSED TO DO FOR HER AND HOW LONG TO WAIT TO SEE IMPROVEMENT?

Are vitamins all I should do?
