8+ lavender orpington eggs

I have a pen of 6 hens and 3 roos. I will try and send 10-12 eggs depending on the girls. If I don't have a dozen I possibly could include some eggs from another pen. This pen has 2 50/50 black hens with 2 blue roos. The blacks and the blues come from recient english import stock. I purchased the black pullets and some chicks that looked black from the breeder in Washington. The black chicks turned out to be 2 dark blue roos.

Good Morning. Pretty birds!

Tons of questions. When would you ship the eggs? How do you package the eggs? Have you done any hatches at home to check fertility?

I will ship the eggs the Monday or Tuesday aftr I receive payment. I suggest paypal to get the payment here fastest. I pack in priority boxes using bubble wrap around each egg. Bubble wrap and exta packing is used to prevent any movement in the carton. The eggs are in a bubble wrap nest in the box. I am trying to package them the way I would like to receive them.

I have 6 hens and 3 roos together. I currently have 18 eggs in my king suro and it is the 11 day may candle tonight. I usually don't like to disturbe the eggs. I don't know what type of hatch i will have with this incubator. I purchased it new last April. Had a so so hatch the first time. I don't think that the temp was accurate even though the readings were correct. With the second hatch the fan went bad. I sent it back and they did fix it but said it had short hairs wrapped around the fan. I don't think that was correct. Reading the latest reports the fans may have an issue. The company must be having issues if the lowered the warranty for 1 year to 6 months.

Last year the so so hatch was with purchased eggs that I dove to Washington to buy. The eggs were fine but Idid have temp issues withthe incubator.

So far with this hatch the readouts are good. But last year the readings were correct but the internal ttemp was off. Before i set the incubator had 2 thermometers in side they were both about 97-98 degrees.

I checked the eggs. Out of the 18 only one clear. I put another themometer in the incubator to check the temperature as I don't really trust this incubator. As with the last hatch and when the fan stopped working the outside temp was reading correctly but inside was not
