8 month old hen not laying

My light Brahmas are 7 mo, born April 8 and haven't started laying yet. One has a very red comb and wattles and has for about 6 weeks, the others is just getting a bit red now. But still no real signs of laying. I read 6-7 mo for them but seems like mine will be later too. Good luck. You can look up how to check their pelvic bones to see if they are close to laying but I checked mine that has the red comb and I thought they were apart and still no eggs.
