i have 8+ Rhode Island Red eggs up for auction.i have the old timey reds.i started my flock a couple of years ago from the Don Nelson line of eggs.these are some of the friendliest birds you will meet.my 2 roosters are big puppy dogs and have never shown any type of aggression.these go back to your true dual purpose type,they lay well and are heavy for eating.these are not production reds so don't expect an egg everyday but you can expect them to lay more years than the productions.
i am still working to improve them and i am not saying these are show quality birds but you will get a good start.
