Your black Ameraucana is defiantly a cockerel, hence the developing saddle feathers. Very handsome! Splash on the other hand is a pullet.13 weeks old! I think I can kind of tell differences now? I will post more pony pics after this weekend. Freddie is doing his very first eventing show. =]

Thanks! that's what I thought I was finally seeing. He's very pretty. His feathers are very shimmery--almost green. Unfortunately he'll have to find a new home :-(. What did these end up being? They both looked like cockerels to me.14-15 weeks. The black boy is getting to be very pretty. The splash is the wildest of all of my birds. I still can't tell what he/she is...
