8 week old chick with a bloody toe

She's been out free ranging for about 10 minutes and it is still bleeding. What should I do? I don't want to close her up in the coop while bleeding.

How does it look. You could just wash it good and put a little vet wrap around it. It doesn't look too serious and should be fine as long as you keep it clean. Just check the wrapping daily until your satisfied that the wound is healed enough to leave off.
 
Bleeding has stopped now. I had her isolated and she is back in the coop now. Hopefully it doesn't start up again!
 
Sorry I read this a few days ago and never replied. I'm glad to hear the bleeding stopped. How are things going so far now?
