Hi there! My 6 chicks are 8 almost 9 weeks old and finally in their outside home!

They were on medicated chick feed for the first 7 1/2 weeks and recently switch over to an organic probiotic feed, which I am serving fermented, as well as dry.

They are having so much fun in their chicken palace, exploring, snacking on a couple bugs and some grass that is peeking through the sand flooring in their run.
Their poop is changing already, seeing undigested grass pieces, and I am realizing they will need a larger grit now.

I am pretty anxious about them getting coccidiosis and/or worms. So should I get corrid and deworming meds to have on hand just incase?

It’s always good to have corid and a good general dewormer on hand all the time. Problems can sprout up in the blink of an eye, and you can’t always get what you need at that time.

Thank you!! I appreciate your quick response and advice :-)
I will head to the feed store and pick some up!
