In the Brooder
I live in Portland, OR. We have 6 eight week old, fully feathered ladies. The daytime temps have been between 90-low 80s and nights 55-51.... Do I need to turn their heat source on at night? I have power running to my coop and the first few nights I kept a 100w red bulb on. Just wondering if that is necessary or not. My wife doesn't want them getting cold, I said they're fine.
