Hello Folks:
looks like one of the EE's we got will be a roo. He's been very well treated and we cannot keep him b/c the neighbors will not put up with roosters.

Located in South Jersey, I work in Central Jersey, and so he can be picked up in South NJ or I can deliver him to South or Central NJ. Please contact me if interested.

Regards, and many thanks!

Thanks for the super fast response. I checked the cloaca or whatever of that bird versus another EE that in no way looks like this one. This bird's cloaca had that internal tongue-shaped tissue that as far as I can see is the male organ, and the other EE had a cloaca that looked like the other hens that Ive seen.

Also, out of the total 4 EEs, this one is the only one that looks like this, the other three EEs, and their cloacas, look the same and not like this one.

What do you think Sourland?

Vent sexing only works on day olds, and then professionals make a 10 % error. Your bird has hen coloring, and I can't see any feathering indicating masculinization - nor excessive comb development. Again, if the bird were mine I would not be in a hurry to get rid of it. How old is he/she?

Sourland,
9 weeks today. Looks like I'll hold on then for a few weeks longer.

Many thanks!

Sorry for posting here, given how this post went.
