I'm glad that this turned out for you and he's a beautiful chick, but for those of us who are new, would someone mind listing the male qualities of this chick? I'm trying to determine sex on my 5 week old EE chicks and know to look for thick legs, big feet and all that, but what is it about this particular chick that makes it so obvious to everyone that he's a cockerel? The coloring? Thanks.

His coloring to me is actually kinda on the fence--I personally have a hard time with this coloration, and usually I can color-sex them fairly well. I'm looking at those thick legs and the redness and size of the comb at such a young age.
