I lean towards this also, except his crest doesn’t seem as “unkept” as the pictures of polish cockerels I look at. Idk

Too young to be sure, but it isn’t an obvious cockerel.

100% no doubt, a Cockerel. You can see his saddles starting to develop. Polish Roos, in my experience, take an exceptionally long time to crow and develop sickles.

Yes, I think you are definitely right. I was looking at him closely yesterday, he's got quite a few saddles coming in with a pretty green sheen.
