8 week old guinea's losing thier neck feathers?

Hi all! I have 2 guinea hens that are 8 weeks old. They are losing their neck feathers and look a little bare. I just want to make sure this is due to them getting their adult feathers and not due to a mite or other issue? I do see a few darker coarser feathers coming in. Thanks!

I'm glad it helped you! I was so worried, thinking they had some skin disorder. Mine are 22 weeks now, full grown and beautiful! I didn't realize that they have no feathers on their neck when mature. Good luck with them!
