8 week old half Brahma half Silkie

I realize both Brahma and SIlkies are hard to sex. We have two chicks we have hatched and raised. They both have Silkie moms (black) with the same Brahma rooster. One chick favors a Silkie and the other the Brahma. Wondering if we have hens or roosters.

These little cuties look like they have silkied feathers so they have to be more than half silkie. Your Brahma must carrie the gene for silkied feathers or these chicks have a different father than you think.
Agree you might have to wait a bit to get a proper gender identification on them.

Thanks! Funny you say that, I thought the Brahma had some silkie in him as well. I'll post more pics in a couple of weeks.
