8 week old layer!!!!!!!!!! Pics up !!!!!

First off I'm not going to make some story up. I got better thngs to do with my time. After the first egg was layed I though it was really cool so I drilled a small hole in one end, And drained out he white and yoke. This is how I could tell it had a yoke. The secound one was put in the frige after it was layed. When I took the pic I had the shell of the one and the fresh one. Don't be so quick to judge and say it's fake beacuse you assumed it was fake

I'm a believer.

And yes, it's amazing that they process meat chickens at 6 weeks. I remember looking at mine at 6 weeks and thinking Cornish Game Hens they would be in comparison. Hormones ain't great stuff.

I think it's illegal to use hormones in chickens grown for human consumption. This has always irritated me about the packaging, because when they say 'no hormones, no antibiotics' I think it's misleading- the USDA wouldn't allow them to be sold for humans to eat.

I'm not sure how they get them big enough to eat, but I'm sure they have it down to a science.
