Pullet. At least, she'd better be or I received two of two mis-sexed! I was told they develop wattles early so not to be alarmed by a bit of wattle showing.
No crowing and and no saddle feathers that I can tell
I think I have a pullet. My chicks just had their 16 week birthday Sunday! I am suspecting that my leghorn is getting close to laying. My speckled sussex just seemed to develop the comb and wattle sooner than my other breeds. Now the other breeds have caught up on development and of course the leghorn has by passed them all.
Uncovering the nest boxes today after I get home from work. Can't wait until I get my first egg.
