8 week old: What Breed and Gender are they?

I'd say the black one is a Black sex-link (Black star or whatever). The white one looks like a mix, I just went and looked at a huge chicken breed chart and there was no breed that has a rose comb, has white shanks, and comes in the white variety. It not a Leghorn or a Chantecler, they both have yellow shanks. Hopefully someone else can help out more. Oh and they both look like pullets.

I thought the black one would be a Black Star (sex-linked?) HEN...

Is this kind of too early to tell their gender???

If the black one is truly a Black sex-link (which it looks like it is), then it's a pullet. I'm not seeing any red, large combs or wattles so I'd say the white one is a pullet, whatever breed it is.
