8 week polish genders?

I have 3 polish chicks at present. 7 weeks old, 2 cockerels and 1 pullet. The cockerel no. 1 crowed this morning for a first time! Chick no. 2 another cockerel suspect. Chick no. 3 pullet. (I'm no pro, just my guesses.)

Question - do you clip feathers around the hens eyes.... sure my pullet can hardly see anything?!
