8 week red face

8 week golden comet has an unusually red face. Not any of my other previous golden comets developed a face like this so early, more close to laying. This is a golden comet hen right?

I don’t know anything about this breed, but I do know when you see red before laying age it usually mean one thing and one thing only. Do you have others in the bunch? How does this one compare?

She looks exactly like our Golden Comets. Mine started to redden around 3 months old. Do you have baby photos? Is it possible you got a roo?

Definitely a pullet. They lay very early, I'd guess she's just maturing extra fast.
