What is your favorite egg laying breed?
White Leghorn for white eggs and black sex-link for brown
What is your favorite meat breed? Never kept one for just meat but I am interested in raising quail for that purpose. In my area processed quail is priced more per pound than chicken but the cost of rearing them to processing is cheaper and less time than chickens; so I'm making plans to add some quail in my hobby.
What is your favorite multi-use breed? Plymouth Rocks = A plus side is they come in many colors so you'll have a rainbow of birds
