Hello!
Last night I came home to find my 8mo RIR panting. It was about 75 degrees out and she wasn't lethargic. When she panted, it seemed that her bottom also moved quite a bit. I picked her up and held her (she stopped panting and checked her vent (it seems to be clear - but I didn't go poking around - ;D ) I tried to tempt her with water (she didn't go for it). I put her in the coop and checked on her in the evening. She seemed to have stopped panting. This morning, no panting (currently 74 degrees).
Any thoughts?
