My 9 1/2 y/o RIR, Lucy, is blind. Her eyes look fine, she comes when I call her, she eats and drinks if I hold it for her. She's sleeping in a laying box.
My loose plan is keeping her comfortable, fed and hydrated.

Can you take a picture of her eyes? And how do you know she is blind (does she run into things at all, does she react to sudden movements)?

9 1/2 years is pretty dang old for a chicken. Probably older than most get so just keep making her comfortable as her time may be drawing near. Good luck.

Yea, that's a super old hen. It's probably neurological failures. And even if she were sick, there isn't really much you can do at that age. So just keep her warm, feed, and comfortable.

This is Lucy on my belly as we were swinging in a hammock. She was a
lover and lost the fight with whatever took her down on July 31~RIP
