Thanks all. I'm quite excited. I also have RIRs, BAs and Dominiques. I think I'll be able to distinguish the RIRs and BAs, but later I might challenge you all again with some pics of the Doms.

Thanks again!

I wouldn't get too set on them being all pullets, I would start watching to see if any of the start sprouting some saddle feathers. I think it is harder to tell with EEs, and I could have swore I had a pullet with mine until about 10-12 weeks when I started seeing those saddle feathers. I think you have at least one roo there and maybe as many as three if I go by what I experienced. Post more pictures in a couple of weeks and you should know more then.

I will surely keep an eye out. The saddle feathers are what have me perplexed. They do seem to stream a little to the sides, but these are so young that even my RIRs and BAs feathers are still splitting off on either side of the tail. I noticed it with my last pullets that I got at 10 weeks old too, and as the chicken grew, the feathers evened out. But I've never had EEs before, so I don't know what to look for. I really hope the hatchery did a good job of sexing them. I ordered all pullets, and I've got 9 weeks invested in them now, so I am really keeping my fingers crossed!

They all have pullet coloring. I know EEs aren't a sex-linked bird, but those colors are pretty typical for pullets. The roos tend to be flashier. I don't see any saddle or hackle feathers on any of them and there certainly don't look to be any red combs.
this is the part that has me confused. My ee is 9.5 weeks old, I am not seeing pointed hackle feathers or saddle feathers, yet he has red in him and that greenish shimmer in his tail.

your bird is too young for hackle and saddle feathers, but the coloring can tell the gender.
