It’s quite obviously a cockerel, that giant comb and double barring give it away. Not sure why some are saying pullet

The jowl wattles aren't really showing, also at 9 wks there should be some sad attempts at trying out the "voice" also the feathers on the neck, saddle and tail are showing no sign of growing into what makes a BR roo so stately. I maybe mistaken 'cause God knows I'm never wrong. Had and raised Barred Rocks for yrs in the past.

It was very obvious to me that he was a boy.

Definitely more white than two of my hens but only slightly darker then my other one!
