Our "sexed" hen Creamsicle started crowing yesterday. We can't keep roosters. He is a beautiful cream colored Americauna, just over 9 weeks old. He's a great flock leader. We're looking for a new home that wouldn't eat him. My human girls would be devastated if they knew he was dinner.

I would be interested if you can ship. I would pay of course. I have a small flock of hens with one Americauna hen. I keep them in a very secure coop at night and let them free range a few times during the week. I would like to have him to breed with my girl.

That happened to us and we were shocked...but we have grown to love him and I can't imagine our flock without him now - the neighbors were surprisingly ok with it. I am thankful it worked out for us...but understand your predicament. Best of luck!
