I have had my chicks for 3 weeks 2 of them are 9 weeks now 1 is 10 weeks and 1 is 12 weeks,my 12 week one itchies her face and looks a bit red but is still very active and she is eating allright,my 9 week old one has had runny poo since i've had her and sometimes has a bit of membrane like light blood in her poo. They are still on chick crumb and will sometimes eat a bit of growers pellets.I would really appreciate some help just incase i need to treat them. The other 2 are fine.

I have a 13wk old cockerel with the same runny poo problem since he was 5 days old. And it sticks to his rear end feathers and gets so built up I have had to give him a bath several times. I wish someone would respond because I have no clue what to do either. He's too big for baths and hates them so bites when we do it now.

Thanks for that i replied a few after your first message, through my email!!thought it was like facebook,i'm new to all this so still learning.I'm so glad you got a reply hopefully it's started working for you.I'm putting cider vinegar in my water i'm sure it's working a bit with her.I'll try the probiotic as well.Poor you with the bathing,Blossom only gets a little on her so i just cut it off.
All the best with him let us know how you get on.
Thanks

Its been 5 days and I've noticed he has more solids poops than runny now! I haven't gotten my raw apple cider vinegar yet as I just ordered it a few days ago. The probiotics seem to be helping though. On the apple cider vinegar, make sure its the raw kind. Apparently the kind you buy at the normal grocery store is pasteurized so doesn't work.

Aah glad he is getting better, yes that's the one i give them.I'll be trying the yoghurt next.
Thanks very much
