9 week old chick with spraddle leg…

So, this chick developed a leg issue at around 7 weeks old. I initially thought it was slipped tendon and splinted it with no improvements. I’ve done a lot of research and realized it was in fact spraddle leg. I don’t have any experience with either one… She is now in a hobble relearning how to walk correctly (with her leg underneath her now instead of bowing out). I guess my question is since she is an older chick, does her leg have any chance of healing correctly? Does anyone have any experience with this in older chicks? She is now 9 weeks old.

Welcome To BYC

Can you please post photos of the chick, her joints, legs, how she stands?
Thank you!

What are you feeding, including treats?
I will try to remember to take photos when I get home from work this evening!

I am feeding them a chick starter/grower (medicated) and occasionally some scratch.

I'd try vitamin therapy by giving her 1/4 tablet B-Complex daily.
See that she's eating her normal feed for the majority of the day.

Looks like she may have a leg bone deformity. Look up Valgus Varus deformities in poultry. She'd have the Varus variation since the leg bows out.

Thank you so much for your help! I’ll definitely research Valgus Varus and get her on extra vitamins today!

Just an update:

Only after a few days on vitamin therapy so far, I’ve already noticed some big improvements! Her leg is still bent and wobbly but she isn’t lethargic anymore and is much more active. I noticed this morning that she is back up on her perch! I am going to continue the vitamins for a while longer and continue to be optimistic! Thanks again! 🥰

I'm glad to hear she's improving.
