Hello,
2 days ago I came home from work to find my 9 week old Welsummer laying off to the side of the coop. It was about 70 that day. She is always the first one to meet me when I open the door. I picked her up, she didn't put up a fight like normal, I put her down and she slowly walked away from me to the other side of the coop straight to the corner. Her tail feathers pointed down. I took her outside and all she wanted to do was lay down. After about 2 hours she finally started making some noise and her tail feathers perked up and she started to wander around. I thought maybe she had just gotten too hot? The next morning she seemed fine, was the first one at the door talking like usual. I saw her eat and drink. But this morning she was off by herself again, this time standing and not being herself, I threw a handful of grass to them and she came over to eat it, but didn't want to eat the scratch when I offered.
Does anyone know what might be happening? I have 9 other pullets and they are all normal.
Thank you so much!
