Silkies are really hard to tell, but I don’t see any saddle streamers so I would say it’s a roo.

Are saddle streamer’s indicators of male or female?
Very early days to sex a silkie. How flat is the comb? If the comb has some height to it, then probably a cockerel.
It has some height, but pretty wide (which is why I assumed roo).

Streamers don't generally come in until later, 12 weeks or so.

It's difficult to tell how high the comb is, but I think it is most likely a cockerel. Post back in a couple of weeks if it is still unclear.

To my inexperienced eye, it looks like a roo. I say that because of the wattles and comb.
