Yep, that's exactly right. Barring is sex linked, and barred hens give one copy of the barring gene to all their sons and none to their daughters. Barred roosters, on the other hand, give one copy to half their sons and one to half their daughters, so the sex linking won't work that way.So a BR hen with non barred roo, any/all barred chicks are cockerels, correct?
