I know what you mean, the light ones tail is fine, that’s why the speckled had me worried, that it was stunted cockerel. Or she’s just a bit youngerI’m pretty sure you’ve got all pullets here. My question though is about the Sussex tail feathers. Mine is 12 weeks and looks the same, like they feel out or got pulled out and are just coming back in. Is this something specific to Sussex breed?
I’m pretty sure a predator got ahold of mine because it happened the day I had another disappear (I was out of town and had a chicken sitterIDK, my SS pullets' tails haven't ever looked like that before.
