I’ve got 3 black langshan chicks that are 9 weeks old now. None of them have tails! They haven’t had them this entire time. They’ve been in a brooder with 2 salmon faverolle chicks that are also 9 weeks old but both of them have their tails. What’s going on? Should I be worried. They don’t join the other teenagers that are only 2 weeks older then them. Instead they hang out next to my wood shed & won’t come out to eat unless I place food over next to them.

Often lack of a tail at this age indicates possible cockerel. However those combs don't look particularly masculine. Hopefully someone who knows the breed better knows.
How did you get them? Breeder, hatchery, or other?

Hatchery.
