The first one is a mixed breed (possibly Easter Egger) rooster. The second cockerel may be mixed, too, but I would guess that he is an Australorp. Most Black Marans have feathered legs, and I don't see that with him.

Well you would be correct because guess who just crowed for the first time today? Still don't know what breed because this clutch of eggs came from a neighbors hen boxes and he's got a pretty diverse flock.

Round 2:----This is Louie, Louie Venchenzi from San Fransisco ( bonus points to whomever can name the movie Reference). He's obviously a Roo but what breed do we think?....Maran ?
