9 weeks pullets or cockerel

The last one isn't a Brahma, so you can't really compare much there. Either way, the light chick is too young to really guess on right now. That one will definitely need an update.

Everyone matures differently. Even within the same breed. I wouldn't draw any conclusions from that alone.
Here is a bit of a side view of the buff brahma

I only saw 2 Brahmas - a Buff and a Light. You didn't show the Light's comb.

The buff has a pretty big comb, but it's quite pale. I do know that Brahmas take forever and a day to mature. That's why I asked for updates on those.

@Rhodebar Lover what do you think?
In the older pics, the buff I can see looks to be a pullet. I can't see its face, but I would wonder if the light is a cockerel if that slow to feather out. Not a rule, but cockerels do tend to typically feather out pretty slow

Thanks. Ya even at 8 weeks the light barely had a tail. I rehomed him as a "I believe is a roo, but could be wrong". Lol.

What do you think about the olive egger I just posted?
