Brandon watched the sun rise through the servants quarters window, then he rolled out of his bunk, he knew breakfast wouldn't be ready until the rest of the servants we're up, so he walked further into the castle, many of the rooms we're still holding the freezing air from the night, so he started fires in many of the rooms, soon enough heat filled the castle, and more servants were getting up.

Ember woke up in the morning refreshed, there was a cool breeze wafting through her room, her window was open from the night before, she got out of bed and stretched, then she got her batch and got her clothes, then she walked out of her room, down the buildings stairs and out into the street, it was quiet still, and she hummed a happy tune, she went to the stables and found Ashe waiting for her, she scratched his chin, "I'm going to sign us up for the races!" She said, hugging Ashes neck, she got him water from the pump, and she went to the storehouse and got out plenty of meat for him to eat, she returned with the meat and threw the meat into the air, and Ashe would catch it and eat it whole, they played this game for a while before she exited the stables, heading for the castle.
