Ok, how are you awake?! I guess you don't have two little kids to keep you goin all day. Lol..

I just woke randomly for another reason and I have a baby!! One of the Lt Brahmas made it! When I went to bed around 1245 I had 7 pipped. All Lt Brahmas.

Hope the other breeds do something too!!

I can't call it a night, LOL. It's 4:00 AM, and I am sleeping in the room of the incubators! Ha.

Two are fluffing, and one is hatching. All EE's. Can't wait for the heavy breeds to hatch!!

Okay, the next EE just hatched. It's very hyper. I will move the Lav Ameraucana to the brooder in a few minutes, as it fluffed up very quickly.

Now I'm really jealous!! but glad for you too, I love those lavenders, where did you getr them??
It's morning of day 20 and I have 2 chicks drying!! Got maybe 5 more pips and 1 zipped almost all the way around. All picked up eggs, none of my shipped eggs have done anything yet but they did develope, so I still have hope. It's early. Pics later today............stan

Nick,
You are driving me crazy with this hatch!

It is day 20? Oh my gosh, I am gonna get a calendar for your next hatch, and give you day to day instructions. Not that you will listen anyway...............

I hope you are getting some sleep and the others hatch while you sleep......... SO YOU WILL LEAVE THEM ALONE! How many times have you opened that incubator and moved chicks into the recovery room (the other incubator)? Really, you should not be doing this until there are at least 8 or 10 of them hatched, or actually not at all.

Anyway, I am glad you are least getting some to hatch.

Now, go back to sleep..............

Since this is your very first experience at hatching, I hope you have learned a few things. Next time, use a calendar, or look here and see this form you can use.........

I sure should, Kathy! I am just such a clumps! I found that form, and am going to start using it.

I opened the incubator twice, I think. But they were spread out overnight.
Just woke up- guess the sleep fairy came, LOL. I'm up to 7 new chicks... EE's, BO's, and I think a Delaware. I have another EE zipping.

I have to say, when a chick is zipping and you tap the window they get out faster! Yep! Works for me! Ha, I'm so mean!

It's day 21! Kathy, I guess that I assumed this was going to be a great hatch. I would love day to day instructions, really. I think that I'll get some auto egg turners, at least one.

The reason that I opened to grab chicks is because I was reading about incubation on BYC, and saw you write something like "if your humidity is that high than it shouldn't hurt to grab chicks". It won't get down from 80%, and I don't want sticky chicks...
