I got the last rolling pin at Food Lion today! And slim jims for perches. And more candy. This is not a cheap coop build. I cut the mouse panels for my hoop coop. May have a skylight. Someone suggested marzipan for chickens. More ingredients needed....

Still have not been to the grocery store for almond paste. I wonder what else i need for marzipan. Going to Lynchburg Tuesday.

That one of Scrooge and the 3 ghosts was fantastic! The photo on the link doesn't do it justice.

It was amazing to hear the bakers/artists talk about their projects and to see all the work that goes into their entries. These people have way more patience (and talent) than me

That is some very fancy decorating! I cannot put that much time into something that is edible.

I've made some salt dough decorations this year, and plan to make a gingerbread house out of salt dough also, and that way can add onto the gingerbread house a little each year!
