Yayyyy! First egg today! After only an hour "labor" Sulu, my buff black tailed japanese bantam, laid her first egg at exactly 26 weeks to the day and two days after squating.

She beat her cochin bantam hatch mates!

And here she is

Congrats....That's a decent sized egg for a little Bantam isn't it ? I thought bantams have tiny eggs that you'd need 10 of them to make breakfast
